As a seasoned finance leader, Patrick McClymont joined Orchard in 2021 as chief financial officer to assist with plans for rapid expansion and to oversee the accounting, finance and capital markets teams. During his tenure, McClymont has fostered relationships with multiple financial institutions to increase access to capital so Orchard can continue to bring its customers the most stress-free and simple way to buy a home through its flagship “Move First” product.

McClymont’s efforts to raise capital from current and new equity investors aided in Orchard raising $100 million in Series D funding and propelled the company to unicorn status. McClymont also collaborated internally to further Orchard’s financial gains to ensure the company can continue to recruit top talent and expand the reach of its services. This includes the growth of a finance team that will support the company’s continuous growth and to help navigate the scope and intricacies of a large organization.
