loanDepot’s chief financial officer, Patrick Flanagan, has more than 17 years of C-level experience in strategy development and execution of top and bottom line driven business plans. As chief financial officer, he is responsible for managing all of loanDepot’s financial actions, including its accounting, treasury, tax, corporate finance and investor and lender relations activities. loanDepot has grown to become one of the nation’s largest retail mortgage lender and nonbank retail originator, funding more than $275 billion since inception.

Over his 32-year career, Flanagan has managed the origination, acquisition and management of over $400 billion of residential mortgage and residential real estate-related assets. Flanagan also has expertise in debt and equity capital markets, securitization and structured financial products. Most recently, he served as executive vice president at Carrington Mortgage Services and has held a variety of executive positions within capital management, mortgage lending and digital financial services industries.
