Here’s The Solutions For Every Puzzle in the South 2: Verdant Canyon Area
Greetings, puzzle solvers! If you’ve been stumped on some of the puzzles in the South 1: Southern Coast area of The Talos Principle 2, we have a guide that should get you going in the right direction.
If this is your first time hearing of The Talos Principle 2, it’s a 3D puzzle game with a heavy focus on philosophy, developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital. You play as 1K, the thousandth robot rolled out and ready to take up the mantle of humanity after the humans all went extinct from a virus hiding in permafrost. These robots, now working on refining their newfound humanity, are visited by a strange purple hologram bearing the name and likeness of Prometheus, inviting them to his island prison. Curious, a scout team is sent that way to investigate, with 1K being one of the ones coming along. You can check out our full review here.
Just going to warn everyone ahead of time: the new tool for this area involves anti-gravity and walls you can walk on. If you get motion sick easily, tread carefully here. So, the first thing you’ll notice is these black surfaces with gold trimmings. These are anti-gravity platforms, and when you get close to them, you’ll see the “Jump here” prompt that’ll let you mount these surfaces. The second thing you’ll notice is purple tubes of anti-gravity that act like a tractor beam, pulling you in and moving you along the tube. These tubes are generated by a new tool called a Gravshifter, a tool that acts just like the others in that you can place it anywhere, but you can only place the actual tube of anti-gravity on the black anti-gravity platforms I mentioned earlier.
