The importance of relationships — to treat every interaction as part of a lifelong relationship. It’s easy for our interactions to become transactional. It feels really different if you imagine that you’re actually going to have a lifelong relationship with the person you’re interacting with. You suddenly care to learn about them. You care about what’s happening in their life. And you care how you show up for them and what they think about you, too.
