Over his eight-year tenure at CoreLogic, Matt Kjernes has been focused on improving the real estate, mortgage and insurance markets. As the head of CoreLogic’s architecture and software engineering organization, Kjernes leads a dedicated team of approximately 450 technical professionals that develop CoreLogic’s platform and product capabilities, which are at the heart of CoreLogic’s value proposition.

Upon joining CoreLogic, Kjernes joined the enterprise technology group, leading the architecture organization that focused on building the next generation technology solutions that CoreLogic is running today. That function drove the technology direction for more than 2,000 technology staff as it works to bring together multiple acquisitions and create a richer experience for CoreLogic’s customers. 

Recently, Kjernes took on leading CoreLogic’s software engineering teams to own execution in the buildout of these technology solutions. That is a team of more than 425 technology professionals focused on building out capabilities for CoreLogic’s future.

Kjernes and his team plan to continue to bring new technology capabilities to bear that will help CoreLogic’s customer property professionals be more effective at their daily jobs, which in turn help the homeowner through the journey of homeownership.
