Ramiro Castro is the chief product officer of FirstClose, a leading fintech provider of digital home equity solutions for banks, credit unions and lenders nationwide, responsible for leading new and existing client initiatives. In this role, Castro oversees the company’s team of product managers, business analysts and UI/UX experts and is responsible for defining and executing the company’s product vision and strategy and leading product development and implementation.

Castro and his team led the development and enhancement of the company’s flagship home equity platform, FirstClose Equity. FirstClose Equity eliminates time-consuming operational touchpoints, advancing qualified leads and triggering settlement services. Automated workflows — including the ordering of credit, flood, appraisal, title, tax, income, employment and asset verification — in one easy-to-navigate platform take friction, cost and risk out of the process. This improves lenders’ productivity and bottom line while better serving their borrowers.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Castro has a well-rounded information technology and product background. He has a successful track record of overseeing customer elicitation to solution delivery and is known for developing high-quality business and financial solutions to scale.
