Go, Go, Colorful Heroes!
Well folks, it’s Thursday, and you all know what that means – time for another Nintendo Download! This week has an incredible Featured Title that HPP just reviewed, as well some fun promotions, National Hat Day and more. But lets get started with the latest swashbuckling, death defying adventure from Ubisoft.
From Sands to Crowns
It’s not every day I get really excited by something published by Ubisoft. Long gone are the halcyon days of the Wii era when they were regularly doing exciting things for Nintendo consoles. But thankfully, today they’ve brought their latest and greatest to all consoles, Switch included. And that adventure is none other than Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown! Enjoy the action-packed Metroidvania that features robust challenge, complex combat and an engaging story. Or if you’re not sure where you sit, be sure and check the eShop later today for a free demo! Next up, a pun-filled promotion straight from Nintendo.
Simply Cap-tivating – National Hat Day is on Jan. 15, so why not tip your brim to some of your favorite hat-wearing heroes from Nintendo? Embark on a journey away from the Mushroom Kingdom and team up with Cappy in a globe-trotting adventure in the Super Mario Odyssey game. Explore dozens of fashion options in the Paldea region and customize your Pokémon Trainer with hats and other accessories as you battle your way to the top in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games. Grab some headwear with green flair and have a soaring adventure with Link in the action-packed The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD game to really cap off the day.
Gator Done
That’s not all, though. My Nintendo also has a couple special events you can try out. One is the aforementioned GameTruck Party. All you need is 10 Platinum Points and to enter for a chance to win before February 7th. The other is a bit more fun. You can redeem a hefty 500 Platinum Points to get some WarioWare: Move It! magnets. Yes, you heard that right. They’re cool, albeit weird. Next up, how about some Game Guide sales?
If you’re in the mood to jump around, check out Spectrolite for $6.99. For a little mad science, try Despot’s Game for $9.99. For some rhythm mania, try Rhythm Sprout for $8.99. Fans of retro might enjoy OmegaBot for $6.49. And for a rogue-like adventure, try Rainbow Yggdrasil for $9.45.
