Head to a Haunted Circus This March in REVEIL

Send in the Clowns…

REVEIL | Featured

While I sometimes prefer my horror in October, I’ve grown to be a fan of the genre, meaning I can enjoy it anytime. Which is good, since Daedalic and developer Pixelsplit are bringing some truly spooky stuff to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this March 6th in REVEIL! It’s the tale of a man named Walter Thompson, searching for his missing wife and child in the Nelson Bros. Circus where he used to work. Better yet, the game will push the Unity engine as far as possible to offer some truly terrifying scares in this upcoming adventure.

REVEIL | Circus

For a better look at what to expect from REVEIL, check this out:

In the psychological horror title, players will be challenged by puzzles, dizzying displays that defy understanding, and unlocked memories brought to center stage while playing as Walter Thompson, a father and husband who is thrust back into the haunting images of the Nelson Bros. Circus where he once worked. Searching for his missing wife and daughter, he must use his wits to navigate several chapters of interlaced narratives across backdrops dripping with atmosphere. Take heed, and take notes, as there are plenty of details that will help you discover the truth.

REVEIL | Funhouse Edition

If you’re looking for something extra creepy, then you might enjoy the game’s Funhouse Edition, launching the same day as the base experience. This digital edition has some special features that might encourage you to wander through this haunted circus:

REVEIL Funhouse Edition

  • Five original songs written and produced for REVEIL, featured in previous trailers
  • Digital Artbook filled with 41 pages of atmos-fear
  • An unlockable black-and-white camera effect
  • Unlockable developer commentary
  • An encore of five audio plays that allow players to dive deeper into the world and lore of REVEIL, recorded with the original voice actors from the game

REVEIL | Puzzle

Best of all, REVEIL will also be coming later to PS4 and Xbox One, in case you don’t have the more modern versions. Check out the creepy trailer below. And stay tuned to HPP for more spooky tales in 2024!
